To the Parents, Friends, Fans, and Players of the Calvin College Rugby Football Club,

Our season is just around the corner. I look forward to seeing all of you out there on the pitch for the matches this season. For the first time, Calvin College Rugby is part of the Michigan Rugby Football Union which gives us a chance to earn the title of state cahampions in division II, tier II rugby. This is a crucial point in the history of the CCRFC and we will need the support of all of you.

In the Knights first game of the afternoon against the Wolves of
Michigan-Dearborn, Calvin came out and fought hard. Juinor 8-man Aaron Vander Meer started the scoring early with a spirited run in the first few minutes. Dearborn countered the attack quickly, putting a tryon the board themselves.
